Paint Detailing
What is paint detailing?
Also known as paint correction, it is a multi step process that will eliminate or “correct” any paint defects without painting it. Defects can be anything from a scratch, a scuff, dirt on the paintwork, hazy/dull paintwork, and other things that can reduce the shine or make the paint lacklustre. After correcting the defect, the shine of the vehicle is brought forward by a series of sanding and compounding processes, before being fine polished. The idea is to make the paint as straight as possible, i.e. no distortions, so the paintwork can properly reflect back the light. The process normally involves sanding the top layer of the clear coat with specialist sanding discs, starting from 1200 grit working all the way up to 6000 grit. Polishing compound is then used, getting finer as the polishing progresses.
After paint detailing, the customer would want to seal or protect the now ideal condition of the paintwork. This is now known as paint protection.

Paint Protection Services
What are paint protection services?
Paint protection is the process by which the condition of the paintwork is preserved and protected from the continuous, daily exposure to the elements like sunlight, rain, snow, salt on the road, little stones or even tiny fragments of metal or any other contamination. Paint protection comes in a variety of forms and cost. It is never permanent but some paint protection packages lasts much longer and provides a more durable protection. Maintenance waxing (waxing on regular intervals) can help top up the paint protection and extend the life of the protection.
Dent Repair
What is dent repair?
Dents are indentations on the car panel caused by something hard hitting the panel. There are a wide variety of dents, from small ones to big ones, from round to crease dents. The most common one is a supermarket ding, where another car park (usually in a supermarket) customer opens their door and hits the adjacent car.
We offer a variety of solutions, and if there is no paint damage, we normally would try to pull out the dent using glue. We use high quality glue pullers. If we can’t, we would fill up the dent and paint it.
Cracks, splits & holes
Repairing cracks, splits and holes
We work on the principle of Repair not Replace. Apart from the environmental impact, this will save the customer a lot of money plus make the repair quicker. Normally done on plastic components like bumpers and wing mirrors and trims, we would normally plastic weld the component, prepare and then paint it. For holes, we use bridging fillers like fibreglass to ensure that the integrity of the panel is restored.
